I just entered pricing for the 2007 CR-V into my database.
Before adjusting for feature differences, the 2007 is a couple hundred dollars more than the 2006. After adjusting for feature differences, the 2007 is actually about $220 less expensive LX to LX, with the gap a bit wider for higher trim levels.
Compared to the RAV4, in both cases base trims without options, the CR-V is $260 less than the Toyota before adjusting for feature differences, and $5 more afterwards--about as close to dead even as you can get. Adding AWD increases the advantage of the CR-V, because Toyota charger more for its more complicated system.

Update: I have now posted a review. A link can be found on the above-linked page. Nothing surprising except that I liked the styling more than I expected to once I could see it in person, and the extent to which the new CR-V has the feel of a premium vehicle.
