:D
MSRP for the 2wd EX-L was 25,3xx and we were able to get a Costco discount of 250.

Having owned a 2002 LX and 2005 SE, I can make a fairly accurate comparison between them. The 2007 does drive more like a car, more responsive, more power, better visbility, less road noise, more comfortable seats. Instruments are completely redesigned. Back seat has two equal folding seats with a small section in the middle instead of 60/40 split. Better visibility out of the rear view mirror, better visibility out of the side mirrors.

Free XM satellite radio already activated for 3 months; radio volume can automatically adjust to compensate for highway noise; faster you go the louder the radio is. This can be turned off if desired. Maintenance reminders on the dash (which looks really cool in Purple); Telescoping steering wheel; In case of accident, the headrests come up and forward to prevent whiplash (Just like Mercedes).

Like the Gen. Mgr of the dealership we bought from said, this is a completely different vehicle from the 2006 CRV. The finance mgr said this is the same as the Accura rdx without the high price. Also, better gas mileage than the previous years and better braking. They think it will be the first vehicle to earn a 6 star crash rating. Don't know if it was hype or not but they said the price is going up $1000 in 2 weeks. We will see about that one. Don't know how they will sell with 2006 models with this one around; there really is no comparison between the 2006 and 2007.

We like it !

He obviously has no idea what he's talking about.

I thought that exact same thing when I read it!!!
Can't even compare the interior of the two, or engine/SH-AWD.

BUT

Congrats on your purchase, I like the new CRV more everytime I see it! Let's get some pictures please :)

They'll do it with price. I paid $20,500 out the door for my '06 EX in June. I couldn't even buy an '07 LX for near that price right now.

That is exactly right. Plus many will prefer the looks of the '06 to the '07. Additionally, there are many that prefer a final model year to a new model year for reliability reasons.
