Guys, I got these prices directly from Honda.com. I guess someone is gonna get it (webmasters)

They are available when you compared a 2007 CRV to another vehicle like the Element.

Here are the prices for the 2007 CRV:
LX-2WD=$21,195+DPI*
LX-AWD=$22,395+DPI*

EX-2WD=$23,445
EX-AWD=$24,645

EX-L-2WD=$25,345
EX-L-AWD=$26,595

EX-L-2WD W/NAVI=$27,395
EX-L-AWD W/NAVI=$28,595

DPI = Dealer Port Installed. Feature is installed at your local dealership and not available from the manufacturer on factory delivered vehicles.

Check out "+DPI*" it shows only on the LX Models. Don't know what features they mean by it.

So, what do you guys think of the prices?

If the price of the EXL is w/o dest charge, i def think 27k is overpriced, especially with the powerplant that it has

Not true. It also showed up on the 2007 Honda CR-V EX-L 4WD 5-Spd AT.

And no, I don't know what it is, as the desicription isn't clear.

yikes, so sticker of 27k for a loaded CRV w/166hp, i dunno folks, thats V6 toyota territory w/same MPG. . . so it looks like the CRV jumped around 1k in all price ranges. Not bad for the lower end models, i think there may be better suited alternatives at the higher end for sure

After seen those CRV prices, the 2007 ELEMENT IS LOOKING REALLY GOOD AGAIN...
For about $2K less than the CRV.

The color is called Galaxy Gray Metallic.
I can get it for $22,500
EX-AWD-Auto.
The CD Changer plays MP3s and also comes with an auxilliary jack that can be use with an Ipod or a MP3 Player. It comes with seven speakers too.
Also Satellite Radio is Standard on Element EX 4WD 5-Spd AT but Not Available on CR-V EX 4WD 5-Spd AT.

Here are some upgrades made to the 2007 Models:

• 166 horses to take you just about anywhere you need to be.
• Latest i-VTEC engine helps produce more torque at low engine speeds,
and more peak horsepower at high revs.
• New 5-speed automatic transmission with Grade Logic Control for
precision shifting.
• Maintenance Minder™ system takes the guesswork out of servicing.

• Headlight bezels have shifted from chrome to black.
• A new grille design distinctly fills in the front end.
• All black side cladding adds sharp contrast to LX models.
• Remote entry system is now standard on all trim levels.
• Standard painted side panels on all EX trims.

Updated gauges and audio panel are backlit in blue.
• New matte-finished black floor is still dirt-friendly.
• Headliner and rear door pillar are freshly garnished.
• Get a grip with a newly-styled steering wheel.
• Buckle up in redesigned front seats with integrated 3-point seat belts.

• Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) alerts you at low levels.
• Front side airbags with Occupant Position Detection System (OPDS)
stand ready to help protect.
• Side curtain airbags with rollover sensor just in case.
• Vehicle Stability Assist™ (VSAฎ) with traction control helps keep you
on course.
• Drive-by-Wire™ throttle system (DBW) for proper engine response.
• Brake Assist helps apply full braking force in an emergency.

What do you think?

Nice find on the website. Kinda strange how you can't pick the '07 CR-V as the base vehicle, but you can pick it as the compare vehicle. :? I ran the compare with 2006 EX against 2007 EX. For some reason, the 2007 interior photos are of the EX-L. The price increase is only $300 for the EX. :)

Doesn't DPI usually mean "Dealer Price Incentive?"
Those 2007 LX CR-V's say the price + DPI

Anyone else noticed that Satellite Radio is no longer Available on the 2007 CR-V anymore?
I seen that also while doing the comparison too.

Racoon, I don't see it.
It was there! I swear it was there!!

Okay, so I know I need new glasses, maybe I was just imagining it.

Didn't make any sense to me.

By the way Racoon, what do you think of the new 2007 Element?

Hondanews.com lists XM Satellite Radio as standard equipment on the EX-L, but not available on LX or EX models.

LX - AM/FM/CD Audio System with 4 Speakers
EX and EX-L - AM/FM/6-Disc In-Dash Audio System with 6 Speakers
EX-L with nav - AM/FM/6-Disc Center-Console-CD Changer Audio System with 7 Speakers including Subwoofer
EX-L - XM Satellite Radio

All have: MP3/Windows Media Audio (WMA) Playback Capability, MP3/Auxiliary Input Jack, CD Text Display Capability, and Speed-Sensitive Volume Control (SVC)

For you EX-L fans, here is the comparison of the 06's to the 07's (about a $550 diff.)

Model
2006 Honda CR-V 4WD Special Edition Automatic Transmission
2007 Honda CR-V EX-L 4WD 5-Spd AT

Base Price MSRP $25,450 $26,000

Comparably Equipped Price $26,045 $26,595

Destination Charge $595 $595

Also, the Satellite radio comes on the EX-L (I'm looking at my brochure)

I liked the black plastic panels better than the painted ones, so the 2007 LX looks fine, but I don't like the EX looks.

Thanks Prof.
We all are doing the price comparison between the 2006s and 2007s models but one thing we have to remember is, that we will not pay MSRP on the 2006's today. We can get better deals on those models. Too bad I am not willing to buy an 2006 Model (not even the SE) at a lower price, even if that means getting a 2006 SE AWD-Auto for $24K.
