View Full Version : Does size really matter ?

Just while we are all kicking our heels waiting around for the chance to get our test drives in, I wondered if this engine technology was or would make it in America ?...a 1.4 litre petrol engine giving 168bhp and over 38mpg.
I notice a lot of talk about V6's and power etc yet also the craving for good mileage....could this be the answer if other manufacturers were to follow suit ? A brief description via this link

Oh well only about 10 days to go for you guys...have pity I gotta wait another 93 :shock: perhaps they need the extra time to fit all the extra goodies for the euro version :wink:

it boasts both a turbocharger and a mechanically driven supercharger
ouch... i guess the warranty includes a spare engine :lol:

I think it would make it here in Canada a lot better than the 2.5 L 5 cylinder leftover that VW is passing off in the now cancelled in Europe (Golf) Rabbit.

No Diesel, unbelievable for VW, and Honda & Toyota better start getting them here soon with gas prices what they are
