Tinting

I'm about to tint my V's windows, anyone got a picture of a tinted V in Supersonic blue? I want a fairly dark tint, am I likely to get hassled by the law? I'm based in the UK.

You can fit what you like on the rear and rear side windows, fit anything on the front sides or windscreen and expect to be burned at the stake :)

Just be aware that when you tint the HRV rear window, reversing at night becomes a bit more of a gamble :)

My tints are dark (5% only) and reversing is hard at night. But i use the bang rule......stop reversing when you hear it! :lol: But realy, i have never had a problem.

Thanks for the replies. I wanted to go fairly dark but not quite that blacked out look. My plan is to have the same all round, but not the windscreen of course!

I only asked because I see so many cars with the front windows tinted. Is it a bit like the mobile phone law? I.e, it's illegal but nobody gets nicked for it?
