Just picked up a 2005 EXL with DVD & the Pioneer rear entertainment system. How can you watch a DVD without using the headphones?
Don't have the manual in front of me, but it mentions something about pressing the "rear speaker button" on the radio to enable the sound to play from the rear speakers. My radio -- stock unit with in-dash CD and CD changer -- has no such button.
If not possible, I was thinking of buying an additional IR headset, taking it apart and somehow rigging the IR component to the rear speakers.
