I'm sureits me but I havent seen automatic climate control listed anywhere. After looking at the C&D pics (one with the nav - EX-L), I noticed the fan knob (left had side) only has fan speeds and off, nothing that says auto. I'm sure I'm mistaken. If not, thats a huge mistake on the part of Honda.
http://www.autodeadline.com/detail?source=Honda&mid=HON2006082452090&mime=ASC looks like you are right ... but I read somewhere that the navigation system with touch screen would be able to control the A/C :?:
Another reason to be happy to live in Europe ... the pictures from the Euro CR-V show dual-zone automatic A/C controls.

This is how it is on our mdx but the touch screen also controls fan speed, airflow direction (head, feet, defrost, etc) and ac on/off. I'm thinking no acc.

Does anybody notice anything missing in this picture? What happened to the parking brake? Is it a floor pedal now?? :? At least they did get rid of the dimples on the steering wheels! :)

I don't know if it's true or not, because Honda hasn't released official information about the CR-V yet.
But I disagree about it being a mistake. The CR-V is not a luxury SUV. If you want all the bells and whistles then you need to be looking at the RDX or MDX.

what is a mistake is that shift smack in the middle of your hand getting to the controls. Whether or not its further back becuase its in drive, that will be very easy to knock out of gear by the driver, a passenger, a child, or anything
what i have notices is that the pics with leather dont show the same table as with cloth. the leather seems to be stationary and the cloth has that handle to flip the table and does not have the draw storage bin
park break?

Understood its not a lux suv but it appears the euro version does have it. Very interesting...

:)
mmmhh no - here a bmw x5 is a luxury suv
wow no parking brake?! that would surely piss off even more the manual guys
now seriously - if you brighten the pic you can see its not a pedal - it must be a handle somewhere
but why have two parking brake designs? thats plain stupid...

Parking brake is the old-fashioned pedal on the floor. Look in the white box. It says, "push on push off"
yep - JamesBR was the first to see it :)

That's why it's got the button on the side.

CR-V EX/LX have the traditional tray table. EX-L has a real center console.

That looks like it's electronically engaged. An "old fashioned" foot-engaged parking brake is far superior to these dinky pull-levers. The traditional position between the seats is a major space-waster... I'm glad Honda realized how much sense a left-foot operated parking brake makes. If there's never a need for novice stick-shift drivers to use the brake as a crutch on hills, it serves no purpose between the seats or jutting out of the dash.
With as much space as the CR-V has in the front, and the now wider body, I'd hoped they would offer a bench seat, to allow seating for 6. Cake was right, bucket seats have to go!

It's a push on - push off footpedal now. I'm not too crazy about that.

It is an adjustment, but easier to use when entering and exiting than the hand brake, b/c it leaves your hands free. On the downside, it eats up your driver legroom and is one more pedal to clean the dirt off on carwash day.
Here's a pic. It's in the white box.
