Hi guys,
I'm thinking of getting a CRV. Any news for facelift? BTW, how is the fuel consumption and how big is the fuel tank.
Thanks

Hi shark2927,
See thread: http://www.hondasuv.com/main2/viewtopic.php?t=1260&highlight=facelift
Looks like the 2005 model *might* get a facelift. Timing about right for that. I just bought mine from KM, collecting in a few days. Am old customer of sales exec, and would have told me about upgrade model if it was due anytime soon. 8)
As for fuel economy, dunno yet, although various reports put it around 8 to 10+ km/litre, from what I gather. Fuel capacity is 58 litres according to Honda. To put it in perspective, it would seem that fuel economy is better than other SUVs in this class/price range (eg. RAV4, X-trail, Santa Fe).

Some news about supposed 2005 CRV (and other Honda models) for the US market.
Taken from http://www.hondasuv.com/main2/viewtopic.php?t=2529, sourced from Temple of VTEC, and it seems original source article has been taken down. But anyway, excerpt of interest below:
CR-V
EX will have:
* Steering wheel audio controls.
* Outside temp gauge.
* 16" Alloy wheels.
All other CRV models:
* New grille.
* Revised headlights.
* Integrated key/keyless entry fob (Keyless entry Remote on Key like Accord)
* Integrated headrests.
* Larger brakes.
* Side curtain airbags on all models.
* ABS & VSA on all models.
* Improved AWD system.
* Possible 5 speed Auto
* "SE" Model returns with body-colored bumpers, hard spare tire cover, heated leather seats.
We already have the outside temp gauge on local Vs (at least the KM ones do). I'm guessing that the 2005 model here would have the headlights, grille, headrests, brakes, improved AWD and 16" wheels. Probably the integrated key fob too. Would be nice to have the VSA and 5-speed auto too, but these are options that would jack up the OMV, and hence bring up the cost too much? Then again, it would certainly distinguish the V from the competitors.
