In these pictures, it has a distinctive BMW flavor to the exterior styling. I personally do not see this as a plus or a minus, just different. It seems to have lost cargo space. The seats are nice, but so are the current ones. Again, the dash seems very sporty, BMW-ish. Not better or worse, just different. The CR-V has clearly moved to the street, its no longer a small SUV, its a small sports wagon. I guess IM going to wait for the 8 Pilot.

Since Europe does not get Acura cars, are we sure that is not a Euro only Honda RDX like car using the CRV name (like the Euro Accord is an Acura here)?

Seems that it would loose a loft of CRV fans here with the less space and utility.

How about the Collision Mitigation Brake System?
And will it be radar or laser?

Will it be offer only in Europe since there is no Acura there?

How come the will offer it in the CRV but not in the RDX?

i find it hard to believe that the American CRV will have all those options, some just seem like they would approach too much into acura territory. I will say that i love the looks of this thing and honestly the grille really doesnt bother me that much it def would not be something to prevent me from buying this car. I think Hondas interior designers were abducted by Aliens

It is already offered in Europe on our Honda Legend (Acura RL) and Honda Accord (Acura TSX)

From Spain, The first official information.

The original text http://www.km77.com

Resume: New Equipment:

CMBS
lighting system in curve
Clima Control 2 zones
Parktronic front/rear
Computer, like Civic an Accord
Navi System
Bluetooh
Voice Control

Sorry tractorboy but, I just got some info that Honda will not offer the new 2007 CRV in France.

I guess you may have to go and get yourself an Audi.

I was thinking about the same thing. At least I was able to downsize the pictures and post them here.
At the same time, that website is no longer sharing any info on the new CRV.

I just found this link in another website. Apparently Motor Trend just send out the October's month magazine to its subscribers.

Wow, "Out of the SUV closet..". That certainly doesn't help it seem very macho. I like the overall look of it but I miss the comparatively rugged look of the Gen. 1 and Gen. 2.

Check out the 2007 CRV Spied Diesel Version, does it look macho enough for you?

Nah, not near enough ground clearance and no spare tire on the back. I certainly don't see any all-terrain tires on there. But I will bet it has plenty of torque. Hey, it really is the Gen. 3 CR-V. 8)

Does this mean the US version of the front grill is not going to be different? I would not think they would they let the car mags distribute the photos, then release a different looking car!
