Different than what?
I think your last two pics are way too small.

Too much camo, and too far away, to tell if they're any different then what we've already seen.

I think Honda has decided that the new CR-V looks BETTER with the camo permanently on. And I agree!
Heck, if they don't leave the camo ON, I am sure that it will be a standard accessory for the 2007 CR-V BUAHAHAH!!!

Based on what I see there, this is indeed a different front end grill design that what we have seen so far... perhaps it looks something like this? Still fugly in my opinion!

One of the VTEC posters said the camo was left on to keep the ugly front end from breaking the camera.
Here is the article on temple of VTEC:

guess they'll digitally insert whatever front end they want when the commercial gets edited.

I spy a Varmint! :D

wouldnt it be easier to just shoot the street then add the whole car
my guess would be they either finished the shooting or they havent started yet
otherwise it just makes no sense - black is not easily edited out even when its just a camo

I don't really know how to shoot a commercial. It's just wishful thinking on my part that they'll put a better front end on the car. 8)
I see them shooting commercials all the time in downtown LA. The RDX was shot on the same street the CRV was.
That's basically the same grille in my opinion.
The new car will usually an "improvement" from a sales/marketing standpoint. The CR-V, I'm sure, will be a great seller.

it doesn't make a bit of difference what the front end looks like if it's not available w/ a manual transmission!
(this is the opinion and comments section, right?)
i thought the gen1 CR-V might be the vehicle for me when it first came out, but i didn't want the 4WD and the FWD models weren't available w/ manual transmission. it took the other improvements in the gen2 to convince me that maybe 4WD would be OK. so i bought a gen2 w/ manual transmission. my V is only 5 model years old, so i can wait.

It's not just the front end that is a disappointment. The roofline of the car has not looked good on the pics I've seen. It really just looks like a stubby station wagon now. The only car with this type of design that I've seen and liked is the new mazda. That has more of a raked windshield which is what I think makes that design work and the honda one Not work.

I'll deny everything. Even if you have pictures.

I did the same thing with the images. I copied the masked one and blew it up to take a closer look.
It "appears" that the H emblem is a few inches lower on the grill than the emblem we've seen in the non-masked photos. Otherwise the nose looks very much the same. If they have made changes (which I doubt), those changes are very subtle.
