I don't think there's a full moon for several days, if not weeks, but the bozos were out in full force today.
It started this morning as I was on the way to get the Element washed. As I approached a neighbor's house, her daughter came backing out of the driveway at warp speed. It was an obvious collision course, so I stopped. Halfway into the street she noticed me, screeched to a halt, then gave me this indignant "what?-I-saw-you!" look. Pulled around her and proceeded to the car wash.
Several blocks later I was sitting at a light. It turned green, and as I pulled into the intersection, the guy coming the other way gunnned it and turned left in front of me...and his wife gave me this "what-the-f***-are-you-trying-to do?" look and flipped me the bird.
On the way back from the car wash I was sitting at another light, a "T" intersection. I was the only car in the right turn lane and there was a l-o-n-g line in the left turn lane. Some "chick" in a beater Z-24 convertible, comes flying up behind me, squeezes between me an the car to my left and pulls in front of the first car in the left turn lane (halfway into the intersection). The other driver and I exchanged "WTF was that?" glances...but the topper was when the light turned green, Paris Hilton just sat there, too engrossed in conversation with her friends to notice.
When I got home, I put the Element in the garage and stayed home for the rest of the day.
