Cams and Cam Gears

This is a set of aggressive cams and gears that should fit in a B20z. Do you guys think that replacing the cams and gears will give me a noticable power increase? I was also looking into Vtec but that seems to expensive

They look like regrinds. You can get regrinds for $100 or less each anywhere. I wouldn't buy cams that you can't see dyno's on. Adding bigger cams will affect your idle and gas mileage. Usually you get gains, but to truely gain with the B20 you need headwork done. Pick up a head for $100 or so and get it worked on then add cams and you'll notice it.

b series do not work well with regrinds and that cam is not any lighter than a cr-v's I think...the skunk2 or AEM will probably provide better top-endpower IMO

That's the great thing about Honda's wonderful Vtec motors. You get the best of both worlds... Mild for around town, and wild when just gotta go play. :mrgreen:
