Anyone out there know of anything that would turn the Element into the old style woodys for the 60's? Seems to me the shape would really fit well with that look.

If they can have a kit for the PT cruiser i would think someone would have it for the Element?

Thanks

I saw an E dressed up with a "Woodie" kit the other night. Dark green paint, and the psuedo-wood sides. Not bad looking. Much better than the PT Cruiser "Woodies".

That is pretty much what I was looking for. Nearly purchased a E LX model on Sunday in blue. At the last minutes to the shagrin of the dealer I decided to find out if there was a woody style before i signed on the dotted line.

Figure the Orang/red/what ever the hell is it, will match the wood better. So loks like that is the way to go.

Seems like a heck of a lot to only be used to transport a dog around, but oh well. At least the dog earns his keep and the Vehicle also.

Thanks for the infor

Wouldn't a SMM match better? I think that is the closest color to the original.

Personally, I think that vinyl wood looks a 'lil tacky...don't you? Here's one that does it right!

That is orange alright.

Where did you see that one at? I notice that it also has a diff seat in it.

Also i saw on here once, pics of the sema show elements, one of them was blue with flames, trying to find that post again, but since i am a moron, i am having trouble. Any one know what section that was in? I have done a search for SEMA show, to no avail.

Thanks

I feel that the E is too hip for the wooden look...its just don't look right

should of left the wood panels back in the 80s with the Chryslers IMO

I too think the E is too cool for those wood stickers. Its 2K for goodness sake. :D

Personally, I like the woody in Sellinacura's pic. Though I think painting the fenders to match the body makes a big difference. A 3 tone Element is going a bit too far.

while not for my vehicle, the styling of sellinacura's pic is quite nice. The bright orange and the panel effects (combined with the surf board) all work together very nicely. In fact, it shows the heritage of the E, going waaaay back as in this picture of a Willy's:
