2007 CR-V On-Order List

The following is the College Hills Honda August on-order list for 2007 CR-V's. I'm guessing the production dates will be sometime in August and they will make it to the dealer early September. If the SE will not be available again until the 2010 model refresh, then the EX-L will be the top-end model. :)

College Hills Honda has posted information in the past that was highly speculative, and later corrected.

But that's just my opinion.

I would not think an on-order list would be a rumor...just a list of cars ordered (dealers could start ordering on June 9). Thought it was interesting that the one Fit they have on-order for August is already sold! :)

The rumor is that they have actually ordered those CR-Vs, and the speculation is that they will actually receive any 2007 CR-Vs in August.

Also, note that the same list only shows they have 2 Hondas currently in stock (two Civic LX's). Highly unlikely for a major Honda Dealer like College Hills.

But that's just my opinion.

I agree on the speculation part...nobody knows if/when the new models will show up. It has to be tough for the dealers to pre-sell the 07 CR-V's, since nobody knows the specs or body style! :D

While it's a completely different category of cars, my best friends dad has pre ordered all sorts of high end cars and exotics even before he's seen a picture or knew the specs. He's got a new 997 Turbo on order, and has even before pictures were released. He did the same for the new M5 :)

While it is hard to believe they only have 2 civics in stock (sure it's not true) I can still believe that they have new CRVs on order....

I'll chime in here to clear up any confusion. I noticed a more than usual amount of traffic coming from HondaSUV so I thought I would see what the buzz was about. Well, here is the deal.

Dealers have placed their first orders for 2007 CR-Vs. These orders were taken during the 6/9-6/13 MOVE allocation. The list of vehicles on the site are what I ordered for this first allocation. This specific allocation was for August production however not all vehicles will be delivered during that month. In case of the Fit, Civic Hybrid and 07 CR-V, although these products will most likely be produced in August, they will not be landing until September.

As far as Civics, yes it is sad that we have 2 vehicles to choose from in-stock. If you are not aware of the situation, most dealers in my area of the country are very low on Civic inventory and have to rely on incoming product to fill sold orders. We feel lucky having 2 vehicles on hand however as some dealers in our area have none.

I hope this clears up any confusion.

I was just glad to see the new Glacier Blue color might be ready for the first wave of CR-V's. Back in Oct-2005, Pewter Pearl was ready for the first wave, but the Silver Moss color was delayed a few months. :)
