Well its been a big week for my little hrv....
on tuesday, i went and got the windows tinted 20% on front 2 and 5% on the rest Very DARK!!! and looks great!! however very illegal!
also on tuesday, i got a luki sports muffler installed on the car, ROAR! with twin crome tips, looks and sounds AMAZING! :twisted:
then on wensday i went to my local auto shop and bought the best pod filter around, i also bought a air fan, 1 meter of black plyiable intake tube 2'5 inch, and a 2'5 to a 3' tube connection....
Putting the muffler on and getting the windows tinted mad me change all negatives towards the car, before this i was hoping to write it off for insurance money however now i really love the car! the muffler provides a great sound that can be herd from ages away!
A hole new air intake, orginally i just had the basic air intake then i though i might be a bit creative i took off 2 orginal air box's and bracket and all the tubing expet from the engine and from the front intake... i then placed the air fan in between the orginal tube coming out from the enging to the new 2'5inch pipe, then bent it into an S shape that lead to the new pod filter, then i connected the pod filter to the orignal air intake from the front.....
tommorow im replacing the stickers on the back of the car with crome badges HRV and possibley on the other side CHV99 (cam's hot V 99). i will also being going to the wheel dealer to look and getting a nice new pair of 17"'s.... so far the car is looking and sounding amazing!
The differents in power is also very noticable, its actully driving and looking like a sports car, pitty its not! lol but seriously i would recomend changing the intake system! it makes a huge differents for around $100....
