Guys put your thinking caps on, We all know the hrv has no guts! So in order to speed up these little cars up for under $1000 per mod, what can we do?

I put in, air filter $30-150, sports muffler $100-500..

i'm also considering installing a sports muffler,
got a quote for 195 for a new muffler, pipping to the back and a nice shiny crome tip on the end, what do you rekon? would a cannon muffler be better?

1. remove the spare
2. disconnect and remove the air conditioner
3. remove rear seat
4. remove all skirts
5. remove rear wing
6. remove fog lights
7. disconnect and remove head unit
8. empty glove boxes, arm rest, boot
9. replace the battery with a smaller lighter one [now that you dont need that much power]
10. put yourself on a diet and get below 80 kilos

now your hr-v is about 30% faster 8)

Okay, so I finally caved in and looked up the conversion. When I graduated from high school I weighed slightly less than 80 kilos.


We won't talk about now...

Combine the first 4-5 modifications and buy a turbo. :)

actually its uner $0
come to think of it... diet and less weight on the v would even save you some bucks 8)

LOL, it doesn't cost $4-5k to put on a turbo. You could get two of em for that.
