Alpine AM/FM/Cassette/CD Changer for sale:
I have a 2-year-old Alpine model 7135 I took out of my Camry and never installed in my E. It has AM/FM/Cassette in the dash with removeable faceplate (for security), wireless remote control (for the back seat passengers to play with), and a 12-CD changer that can be mounted in the trunk area or under one of the seats. The cassette player only has about 2 hours playing time on it, since I mostly played CDs or radio. This system is much better in performance quality than any OEM stereo and most aftermarket systems (especially its FM reception), and also has a comprehensive and intuitive combination of features.
I paid $800 for it (with the discount I got at the store - it retails for higher) and then bought a second 12-CD magazine for $40. I also have the original box and instructions for it, plus a protective carrying case for the faceplate. I'm asking $475 for everything, including Alpine's proprietary fiber-optics connection cable. This is less than you would pay for any 12-CD system anywhere today, let alone an Alpine.
Although the 7135 has 4X45 watts of internal power for speakers (which is all I ever used), this system is an especially good choice if you plan to upgrade other parts of your system such as amps and speakers, since it has dedicated front and rear preamp-level outputs with fade control, plus a tunable dedicated preamp-level output for a subwoofer amplifier.
Contact me on this forum or by email at palmpilot10@netscape.net if interested. Thanks!
