View Full Version : Driver's Seat panel broke!

The plastic panel below the seat that houses the seat controls broke! One of the plastic 'tunnels' that holds the screws simply broke off. Got it replaced today under warranty. :roll:

that is what is odd...I didn't do anything wild and crazy! and I'm not a big or heavy person! ;)

They said they've "had a few of these" come in....so I just thought I'd warn you guys.

I have had the same problem twice. Honda replaced it under warranty. It appears to be a design problem. When you sit on the seat, it compresses the seat down onto the plastic panel. There is no give in the panel so it breaks away at the screw connections. I have to be careful now everytime I get in.

Mine broke AGAIN yesterday. :roll:

we were at the mall. I parked. opened the door. slid around so my feet were hanging outside to hop out. CRACK!

sigh.
