Here is a short water crossing video. So far I do not like Photobucket since it really shrinks the video even after I made it into only 1.5 megs.

I half way expected to see a herd of cows crossing the rivers like in the cowboy movies .

Ok, I upgraded to YouTube and the video is bigger. Here it is again.

that was getting a little close to the door seals. Hope that the V' is as air tight as they say it is. :)

If I recall correctly, the water was clear enough to see the fairly firm creek bottom. I've taken the Blue Betty through deeper water. 8)
It's too bad that the sandy incline on the shore totally defeated her. Just a friendly reminder to tire shoppers: Goodyear Assurance Tripletreds and loose sand do not mix well!

Please have WestTexan do that. Make sure he drives backwards so I can see his HondaSUV sticker.
That would be a good way to clean my alloy wheels.

Robert -- Not to brag (seriously, I'm not), but I've taken my 'V through water deeper than that (past the door seals) on paved roads.
Never go to the Ikea in Elizabeth, NJ during a heavy rain.

Cool. It is good to know it can handle water that deep. I believe Vince has gone through water that deep when it flooded in Houston. Also, there were some areas we crossed that were definitely deeper than what is in the video. At one point the water just made it over the hood for a couple of seconds. That freaked us out pretty well.

It makes me nervous just washing our CR-V in the driveway.
I can imagine the look on my wife's face if she ever saw me attempt to do anything like that.
