Hey guys I need your help. I'm installing aftermarket lcd screens on my 2004 Pilot but love the stock look and wanting to install video outs on the stock dvd player. I need the schematics for it. I've been looking everywhere does anyone have them for a 2004 pilot with stock RES? Thanks for your time! :D :?:

My brother is looking for the same thing for his Pilot. He wants to add some screens to the factory RES. Does anyone know how to do this?

I can't be sure without seeing the unit (I don't have one, sorry) but look for a shielded cable between the DVD unit and the screen - it will be a single wire with a single shield (could have inner yellow wire, outer jacket is usually grey) - by comparison two wires with a single shield will usually be the audio lines (Left/Right)
You could easily test this, as I would, by connecting an RCA jack to the end of the shielded line you suspect, then plug this into your test TV/monitor's video input - if by chance you found the audio line instead, then no picture will show up, regardless it *shouldn't* cause damage to your test TV/monitor, and try one of the other ones.
A shielded line would be connected as you expect, shield (metalic wire arround the outside) to the outside of the RCA jack, and inner/insulated wire to the center pin of the RCA jack.
As a general rule of thumb, power lines won't be shielded, and will commonly use thicker gage wire, so plugging one of those into your test TV/monitor's video in *would* be fatal.
