I have a '06 Pilot with 1200 miles on it. Just recently, when it is cold out, after the car is started, anywhere btween 2 an 10 seconds, I here a sound that sounds similiar to what a starter sounds like when it sticks. The Service Tech at the Honda dealership said that this is a normal sound. I called another dealer ship, and they said that there should be no noticiable noises. Does anyone have a solution for me besides taking it to a different dealership. Thanks.

If this is a new sound, then it shouldn't be doing that. Hopefully you're still under warranty, but otherwise it sounds like you need a new starter solenoid, or perhaps the return spring is worn out/broken.

We have an 06 2wd Pilot with 8600 miles and I have never noticed that noise and I am pretty picky and would notice that noise.

I would definitely get it checked out at the dealer to be on the safe side and at the very least you will have it documented that you took it in for the noise.
