Swedish made Packline (105 cm width i asume) www.packline.se made in fiber glass, classical excellent design that dates back to the late 70s early 80s
After 18 years i had to replace the gas springs on my dads box this winter besdies that it has worked well 180 km/h for hours in Germany is no problem..
One thing to keep in mind: it takes a lot more load then your alloved to have on the Alrik Söderlidn of Auto Motor & sport i sweden wrecked a Volvo V70 for a TV program loading it with 125 kg (+ the box own weight) and alone in the car drove a typical "car show slalom course" in around 60 km/h and ended uppside down...
Worst i have seen was 4 guys in a Volvo 745 buying cheap beer in Germany and filling up the box with approx 250-300 cans of beers....

105, yes. it's a heavy box and boxy, so to speak, but for a snowboarder Thule is no good, it sacrifises too much space for aerodynamics and design. i have packed 6 snowboards, 5 pair of skis and all boots into this box and it still closed :) (this year's trip to åre).
thanks :)

Cool pics. Thanks for sharing.
My 1st thoughs of the cargo box is that it would make a good sled for the snow when turned upside down.

How about a boat/cargo box then??
(pics 1+2)
It´s even for sale on a swedish ad site for 4500 SEK
For sled ride i strongly recomend, out of my own first hand experince, a well waxed Saab 99 bonnet ( pic3)
OT: owned a Saab 99 EMS -77 even that same colour...

How on earth can you guys do that to your poor HRV's. Torturing them in that nasty hard cold ice. Poor car will catch pnemonea.........quick take it to one of our beaches before it suffers hypothermia.
Sweet! I love those ski boxes on top of our Hondas!

What etc said - it would be fairly easy to fix this.

Anyway, the scratch pattern looks much like modern art. Just stare at it for a while. I'd say leave it as it is, for art's sake!

I'm not so sure mrtn is happy with that kind of art on his vehicle.

are you sure that wasn't concrete?!?!
gotta go check if the bonnet opens and wheels turn..
 well if its concrete youd have one heavily reinforced hr-v
on the serious note - i think its not concrete, but be careful when passing through construction sites
theres always a number of corrosive materials around and 'stray' nails on top of that
OMG! can it go any faster!??

hehe cool one :)

Thanks for the great shots. The HR-V is so sexy.
Definitely worthy of a 'right-click' and a 'save image as'.
(and because it took about 4 minutes to load them all)
i went back to the place i found the liquid concrete
hoping for more liquid fun, eh?
it dried out this time, but you still made great pics :)
