The marshalls were abit surprised when I managed to get through parts where even landrovers were getting stuck.
I think the phrase over the radios was "there's a nutter going round in a honda, and he's still going"

Not many although a few did say it looks too nice to go round there. THe expessions were the best bits when it powered through parts where they were struggling.
I have to confess I too the easier of the routs over some of the obsticles as parts of it was set up for trials vehicles and I need it for work tomorrow. :D

No I was just trying to find out where all the steam was coming from. It turned out to be wet mud and water draining down from the under tray etc. on to the hot exhaust.

Fiver per lap or £15 for the whole day. I only went round the once so it cost me a fiver. Best laugh I've had in ages.
Cool!
There is a lot to be said for the HRV's light weight. Refer my experiences on the beach:

I am looking forward to next month - Isabel and I will be going on a scuba trip to Mocambique. Think I'll make a new thread about this...

I'm looking forward to the summer when alot of the lanes round here go sandy as opposed to a strange mix of sludge and sand.

I have to confess to having second thoughts for a second or too. Then we saw a standard Suzuki Vitara going round (he did get suck several times though), and I thought bugger it if he can go so can I.
