i need to make a photo of my dirty one. HR-V. a over a 1200 km in a week in 0C. now it's dry again, last night i looked for a car wash with less than 10 cars in line, no success.

Problem with the HRV is that because of the shape of the rear end, it picks up dirt in no time - and when you use the rear screen wash it just covers the tailgate in crap. I don't bother washing mine more than once a fortnight in the winter months as it's just a waste of time and money :)

I wash mine by hand all the time. Every week (sometimes 2-3 times in a week)

That's why i polish it twice a month during the summer, then it can be left a little during the winter. It gets a full tcut and compound rub down to keep the paint nice

That looks quite clean. I think mine gets like mrtn's driving 500 miles a week.

Yup .. if i do a run down to Milton Keynes it's nearly a 400 mile round trip, that doesn't include any driving i do when i'm there or the driving i do during the week to work and back etc. If i was as mad about it as some of you guys, to keep it clean i'd need to wash it every day - i can just about be bothered to wash myself that often lol

Been out today and mine's dirtier than a dirty thing already. Only washed it at the weekend. I actually can't see through the front and rear windows where the wipers don't sweep.

This is the fastest car to get dirty i've ever owned bar none. I can forgive it that though, dirty and 4x4 is sort of cool in its own way.

Come and live in salty dirty filthy damp blighty then - it's filthy here between november and march. Washing your car once a week is a thankless task and a pointless exercise - all you'll get are keens on your hands and dirty water on your trousers lol

Even to a blind person my braille body would make them retch

Washing cars naked on public streets in england is frowned upon lol

I have to get home first, and unplug the pc from my ups, when i run games in full screen mode it draws too much power through the ups and it goes into shutdown mode lol
