View Full Version : cotm? anyone?
tons of people have posted pictures of their rides
and theres only ONE hr-v car-of-the-month for this year?
come on! who decides that?
we hr-v-ers here are not that many indeed
but sure there are more pictures available than cotms...
i say everyone who posted pics of their hr-v
should be a cotm! if not this month - the next
the line is not so long anyway...
whadayasay?
the nicest way of doing it would be as it's with honda_hr-v's black rig, other users (like skyout in this case) nominate it for COTM for an obvious reason: a lot of time and effort put into the machine. i once suggested to have a voting system, like rating, which automatically picks a COTM when enough people had given their votes. this, however , would have toe programmed and i'm sure bing is busy enough without it at the moment.
to be brief: nobody decides it, it's up to ourselves. i'm glad the forum got out of hibernation, where there were no new posts for weeks and thanks, etc, for bringing the subject up.
youre welcome mrtn
i was just shocked to find out theres only one cotm for this year
im not accusing anyone of not doing something
im just saying everyone who was brave and proud enough
to clean his car, take it to some nice location
bring a camera and take a few good pictures
and finally come back here and upload them
simply deserves an entry for car of the month
after all we are maybe ten people all around...
and putting some more pictures of the our beloved hr-v
would maybe convince others to join the forum
and if still they dont have it - to buy the car
isnt growing our community what we should be after?
i say the more the better

It seems I remember a member that posted he wanted to be COTM. Someone posted he just needed to PM Bing and Bing will guide you through the steps. Kind of like self nomination.
Note: the member became COTM after that.
... I remember a member ...
Like the guy was was from out of town wanted to play at the Golf Course, and the guy at reception asked for his membership card.
"I'm a country member." He said.
So the guy said "Yes, I remember. But I'll need to see your card..."
 :D
