Big congratulations for a good choice ! The picture of that color is fantastic. It isn't called San Marino Red, is it? We just sold off a '98 CR-V in San Marino Red and it was nice too.
Welcome.

Is it really true that blue HR-Vs are faster ???

Is it really true that blue HR-Vs are faster ???
From a prior post:
My wife orginally picked green as our first choice and we got it for our test drive. I expained again to her the obvious reasons (mention in prior posts) about light colors staying cleaner looking much longer, the heat thing, etc. Then while looking at the brochure decided the silver had a sporty look we both liked. So we went back to the dealership, test drove the silver. She liked the dark interior much better than the tan, so that tipped the vote toward silver again. Then when I explained that the SILVER IS THE FASTEST Smile , she agreed and we bought it that night.
Silver is a lustrous coating that propells through the air with the greatest of ease that other colors can only dream about.
With a silver V you have to be careful of jet lag, Honda doesn't tell you this but if you travel across a time zone in a silver V you can experience a disruption of bodily rhythms along with slight psychological dislocation caused by high-speed travel . http://www.hondasuv.com/stg/viewtopic.php?t=10212&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

Vanesa
And is from the year 2000.
And it has driven 60.000 kilometers.
Whit a lot of assesoires ( even the original parts like original 16 inch wheels + tires and coil overs. )
It's a great car but I will ( maybe ) have a Civic type R ( 200 HP.)
or the new Civic (2006).
But I don't have hurry, maybe I drive another year in this HR-V. :D :D
plus shipping to Australia plus converting it to RHD :D

You mean a "car bra"? its made of vinyl and has a soft backing to not scratch you car. It goes on the front bumper bar and covers the front of the bonnet and its supposed to protect from stone chips. Is that what your after?

Ebay can be a good start - worst case from the dealer they'll not be more than £45 UK. No idea what the conversion to AU$ is like.

Thanks for your help
But we dont have HRV here since 2001, so the dealer does not sell any more accesories for it.
I could not find any on ebay! :(
Thanks anyway!

Very good idea, cause i have worn holes in my carpet. If i was you i would get Honda to fit original mats cause they clip into the carpet and dont move around like normal mats from Big W. Not too sure on price but ring some Honda dealers for quotes and fitting. Let me know if you have issues.

It doesn't matter where you buy your mats from, installing 'Car Mat Lock Downs' will stop them from moving around. I bought my Car Mat Lock Downs from Big W.

There was a thread from one of our members w/Husky liners that was teaching his daughter to drive in an empty parking lot. The liner slid forward and locked the gas pedal down. He turned the ignition key off due to his quick thinking from the training he had in a class for new drivers and parents, which avoided any harm to them or the V.
