OK, so here's my first post. I've been researching SUVs for about 3 months now and am now fully convinced that the CRV is the way to go. However my dlilema is as follows:

Do I buy a 2004 CRV or wait until the 05 comes out? Any idea of upgrades in the 05? I'm looking at getting the EX edition (btw...I'm in Canada).

Where can I find dealer prices for Canada? Are there any incentives/rebates coming out soon?

If you need a vehicle, buy now. There will always be changes down the road. You can't make yourself crazy.

Too late...I've been making myself crazy for a few months now!
I have a 93 Civic which is running well however the body is starting to rust quite a bit. Also, due to the rust, the gas tank now has a crack in it which only allows me to fill up about half the tank. The car will make it until the 05 models come out...my question is...is it worth waiting.

ThanksIt's rather complicated because we were buying ourselves out of another lease (VW) early, but it amounted to a $2800 discount on an EX-L. This was about $1000 better than I was able to do at Ottawa Honda.

Just to confirm:

MSRP is $32,500 and you got roughly a $2800 discount on that? Plus you paid the $1240 delivery and the $175 gas/ac tax?

You're talking approximately nine months until the '05 will be available (assuming Canada follows similar timing as the US), at best maybe a month or so earlier. A long time to wait, if you need a vehicle.

I think the center tray table cupholders are about the biggest change between an 04 and an 05... I wouldn't wait on that.. just buy the new tray later and change them out...

You're best deal will probably come in October or early Noember when the 04 are going out and the 05 coming in. If you're getting an 04 that is.
I was shopping in early December 03 for an 03 deal but none were available in all of Ontario.
I needed something within a week so I got the 04. But there was no dealing. he knew he had me hook ,line, and sinker.
Still happy with the CRV though.
I wouldn't think there's any real change coming in 05. No styling change , that's for sure.
