I get a Beeping sound soon after starting the car and sometimes again while driving.

Seems to be about 10 Beeps and then stops.

Looked through the Owners Manual last night (300 pages of bedtime reading!) and all I can find (I might have missed it) is the seatbelt audible warning. I DO use the seatbelt, and there is no red warning light for seatbelt not on, so I suppose what I am asking is:

1. Do you all have seatbelt warning lights, or was this only fitted to certain models.
2. Is there anything else that beeps?

Thanx guys

:? :)

Mmm, thanx. Good point, there is a Pioneer front loader that the previous owner installed in there - I think the book for it is also in the cubby - more bed-time reading...
Could be one of those auto-channel hunting things I suppose...

Thanx again.

my Pioneer head also makes crystal clear beeps every once in a while, i think in TA mode or smth.

btw, i have no seatbelt warning indicator.

If it's pioneer it could be a fault with the wiring. Pioneers all beep if you don't take the face plate off after you turn off the ignition - whether it's 5 beeps or ten i don't know, i just know it's a few and more than one :)

My HR-V has no beeps as standard as far as i can tell, just warning lights.

my wiring is perfect, so that's not the case. the unit also turns down the music volume for beeping.

Heh! :) 8) :)

Actually, I think the face was not on properly, because it felt a bit loose, so I took it off and put it on again, and since then it has been quiet. Have also messed with the 'TA' settings and things so that could have been it.

All seems well, thanx...
